Do you enjoy research? Can you watch a legislative hearing online and take notes? Or do you have experience meeting with legislators at the Capitol building? Our government affairs team works all year to stay on top of legislative issues. Much of this work can be done from home and is a very important part of protecting homeschool freedom in Alabama.

Do you love to create digital art for use on websites, t-shirts, or other printed articles? If you have this skill, we have a need for you!

Do you enjoy answering questions from new homeschool parents or helping a homeschooler with choosing a curriculum? Join our mentoring team and you can help them start, or go on, with confidence in their choices!

Do you like to write or edit? Are you good at meeting deadlines? ALHSA’s Publications Team will write and also organize our schedule for the content we put out on our blog, via email, and any other communications we need.

Many families go to social media first for the information they need. Reaching these families through Facebook and other social media outlets is an important part of how we fulfill our purpose to Inform-Empower-Encourage them.
